Dr Athanasia Vargiamidou

Dr Athanasia Vargiamidou is a Consultant Pathologist specialising in breast, urological and autopsy pathology.

With over 10 years of experience in the field, she is currently working at UCLH specialising in urology. She also works as a pathologist in the private sector.

After completing her medical studies at Kings College London and pathology training at Imperial College London, she was employed by St George’s University Hospital and initially specialised in autopsy, gynaecological, urological pathology and later in autopsy, breast and urological pathology. She is a certified Medical Examiner.

She is a dedicated clinician and currently teaches medical, nursing, toxicology students, histopathology trainees and mammographers in breast, urological and autopsy pathology.
