Job Title: Senior Biomedical Scientist – Main Laboratory

Salary: £47,154 – £52,936 depending on experience

We are looking for a highly competent and versatile Senior Biomedical Scientist with strong background in Cellular Pathology, in-depth subject knowledge and a track record in histological work, problem solving, and staff supervision. The successful candidate will have a pragmatic approach, good communication skills and possess the ability to maintain focus while performing under pressure.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skillset and knowledge in quality management and/or training. The focus of this role is to deliver the day-to-day operation of the main laboratory, which includes embedding, microtomy, routine staining and manual tinctorial stains as well as quality control.
The applicant must be Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Biomedical Scientist and hold a specialist diploma in Cellular Pathology for a minimum of 2 years.
