Advance Histopathology Laboratory (AHLab) continues to grow with the recent expansion of office and laboratory space.
AHLab provides a high-quality histopathology diagnostic service utilising a range of cellular pathology techniques. This phase of expansion increases the capacity to meet the ever-growing demand for our services.
AHLab has moved the office at 47a Devonshire Street to neighbouring 41 Devonshire Street. This has allowed the laboratory space to be expanded in 47a Devonshire to cater for increasing work demands. With the office and administration staff now located in a separate building from the laboratory staff, new communication technology has been incorporated to allow both teams to operate smoothly to cater for increasing staff and workload.
The laboratory specialises in all clinical biopsy and surgical samples as well as providing a centre for coordinating any additional tests required for complex cases. AHLab provides access to a wide network of expert pathologists and scientists, experienced in diagnostic and research pathology and working in centres which are internationally recognised.
The recent expansion includes the growth of the AHLab team with the recruitment of a Business Development Manager, Personal Assistant/Medical Secretary, and a Biomedical Scientist Advanced Practitioner in Dissection. This sees the staff numbers at AHLab approaching 48 team members.
